Redemption Instructions

You can redeem Gift Cards at any LCBO store. Present the digital gift card during your checkout, the Barcode and Pin number are required. You may combine Gift Cards with another form of payment. Gift Cards are not acceptable forms of payment at LCOs.


Online orders can only be shipped to an address within the province of Ontario or to the LCBO store of your choice. Orders cannot be delivered to a PO Box.

Your purchase, use or acceptance of an LCBO gift card constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.


LCBO gift cards and Vintages gift cards (both of which are referred to as "Gift Cards") may be presented as payment towards the purchase of LCBO and Vintages merchandise at LCBO retail stores. Gift Cards have no redeemable value until purchased and activated and they cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash or used to purchase other Gift Cards. Gift Card orders cannot be cancelled and gift cards are non refundable. Cardholder must be 19 years of age in order to use the Gift Card. Use of Gift Cards is subject to these terms and conditions governing its use, which may be amended by the LCBO from time to time in its discretion. Gift Cards may only be used for personal, non-commercial purchases. Purchases made at LCBO retail locations by wholesale customers are not eligible to use and redeem Gift Cards. Wholesale customers include, but are not limited to: licensees, agents representing manufacturers/suppliers, and LCBO Convenience Outlets. Lost or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced. To check Gift Card balances use the ‘Balance Checker’ function available on www.lcbo.com. For activation issues, please return the gift card to the original place of purchase.


Gift Cards have no implied warranties and are not a credit or debit card. LCBO makes no warranties, either express or implied, with respect to Gift Cards, including, without limitation, any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In the event that a Gift Card is non-functional, the sole remedy, and the LCBO's sole liability, shall be the replacement of the Gift Card with a Gift Card of equal value to the remaining balance of the non-functional Gift Card. Purchases will be deducted from Gift Cards until the value reaches zero. Gift Cards are not reloadable. This card does not expire and no dormancy fees will be charged.


Resale of Gift Cards or use for unauthorized advertising, marketing, sweepstakes or other promotional purposes is strictly prohibited.
