The gift card is associated with a code that can be used to purchase Trenitalia tickets (one-way tickets, season tickets, carnet, etc.) for national, regional and international service trains (so, excluded courses operated by other brands, as Trenord and TTPER) on the main Trenitalia sales channels (excluding the Trenitalia app). All 19 digits (including zeroes) must be entered during payment, paying attention to uppercase and/or lowercase letters. The card is not nominative.
The credit is scalable (it is possible to use it several times until exhaustion) and is valid for 10 years from the time of issue/purchase and can be used in combination with other payment methods (e.g. cash; credit card, etc.).
The gift card is not sellable and is not convertible into money. In case of theft or loss, the code will not be released/recovered. The ticket purchased using a gift card follows the rules of the second contact for the chosen ticket type. The customer retains the right to use the amount paid with the card even in case of second contacts (exchanges, refunds and access to other trains).
Please note that in case of refund, the amount due (net of any deductions) will be automatically re-credited by the system on the gift card/credit card originally used.
